Unparalleled experience. Mireille is an amazing instructor and person. The villa, the food, the ambiance....everything was fantastic.

I had a great time! Mireille was a fabulous instructor. Accommodations were fantastic, our meals were delicious and all food allergies/aversions were honored. Beautiful sunsets! Swimming under the Tuscan sun was splendid! Absolutely an artist’s dream space to learn, create and rejuvenate. Excursions were wonderfully planned, including our additional detour to San Gimignano. Great group of mosaicists to learn with. Pizza outing was fantastic, as were the cantuccini that my dad devoured. Thanks again! La dolce vita for sure!

Mireille Swinnen is an amazing teacher and artist. The excursions were a nice plus both in content and in breaking up the five days of class. The accommodations and meals were very good and the pizza party was very enjoyable.

Fabulous! La Volpaia 1521 is a wonderful villa in a beautiful location! The room was quite comfortable and the food was fantastic! The Mireille Swinnen Painterly Mosaic workshop was profound!! I highly recommend any artistic retreat offered at La Volpaia 1521! You won’t be disappointed! Mia Tavonatti creates a first class experience!
